A political thriller "Elite Squad" ("Tropa Squad") about police violence in Rio de Janeiro by Brazilian director Jose Padilha won the Berlin Film Festival's coveted Golden Bear for best film, held from February 7 to 17, 2008. "There Will Be Blood" took two prizes.
'Rama and Sita with Romeo and Juliet twist'

'BETWEEN TWO WORLDS', a multi-national movie project with an international cast, is a hip, romantic, coming-of-age adventure story about a Hindu girl from Bali in Indonesia with a possibility of casting two top actresses, Aishwarya Rai and Tabu, from India.
Through India-EU Film Initiative, film's director Angus Strachan wants to approach the Indian film industry for collaboration.
